It is the part nobody sees and the part that decides whether the job is still sound in fifteen years.
How We Get Your Concreting Right
We turn up when we say we will, we work to the levels and falls that were agreed, and we finish the surface the way you asked for it. Weather gets checked before we pour rather than after, because concrete does not wait.
When the pour is done we clean up properly. Spoil is carted away, the ground around the new concrete is levelled, and turf or soil goes back so the finished job looks like it belongs there. Our customers mention that more than anything else.
Our Concreting Process
1. Quote on site. We come and look at the job, take the levels, check the access and talk through the finish you want. The quote covers everything from the dig to the turf.
2. Excavation and preparation. We dig out, remove the spoil, and prepare and compact the base. Tight access is not a problem, we have machinery that fits.
3. Formwork and steel. Forms are set to the agreed levels and falls, and reinforcement goes in to suit the job.
4. Pour and finish. Concrete is placed, screeded and finished in your chosen surface, then cut and cured properly.
5. Reinstatement. We level the surrounds, put the turf and soil back, and leave the site clean.
